About Shreya

Keshav Canvas is the work of one artist, Shreya. Every commission is painted by hand, one at a time, in Rajkot, Gujarat.

That matters more than it sounds. The person who discusses your idea is the person holding the brush, so nothing is lost in translation between a design and the finished piece. It also means only a limited number of commissions are taken at a time, and that a date is refused honestly when it cannot be met.

How Shreya works

Each piece is approached on its own terms. The design is drawn for the item it will live on rather than adapted from something else, which is why the first conversation is about the item, the occasion and the person before it is ever about a motif. Nothing is printed, transferred or outsourced. Colours are chosen to survive being worn and washed, and the final creative direction is confirmed with you before any painting begins.

Where the work is made

The studio is in Rajkot, Gujarat, and commissions are delivered across India. Some pieces are painted onto an item you already own and post to us; others are painted onto something sourced for you. Both start the same way — with a conversation about what you want it to say.
