A single line-drawn face in ochre, slate and soft taupe on the front of a natural linen shirt.
The idea behind it
The most restrained piece in the collection, and the hardest kind to get right: a face reduced to a few continuous lines and three flat blocks of colour, where every edge is visible and nothing can be hidden behind detail. It sits on one front panel rather than across the chest, so the shirt still reads as a shirt. Linen and cotton take this kind of flat, thin colour beautifully and stay soft enough to wear every week.
