The idea behind it

Not every piece wants to be gentle. This one is loud on purpose: a character with a mustard beanie and oversized glasses, painted big across the back panel and packed around with crowns, stars, splatter and hand-lettered asides. Denim is the right ground for it because the indigo keeps the brights from tipping into garish, and because a jacket like this is meant to be seen from across a street rather than studied up close.
