Hand-painted to order
Hand-painted shirts and tops
Lighter fabric, finer detail, and a piece you can actually wear every week.
Shirts sit closer to the body and get washed far more often than a jacket, so they are painted differently. Lighter, more flexible layers of colour; smaller, more considered compositions; and placement that survives a hot Gujarat afternoon and a washing machine.
Cotton, linen and blends
Natural fibres take paint best. Heavy synthetics and anything with a water-repellent or wrinkle-free finish are unpredictable — the finish stops the paint bonding. Send a photograph of the care label with your enquiry and we will tell you honestly whether it will work.
Placement that lasts
Chest, pocket, cuff, collar and back-yoke designs all wear well. We avoid heavy coverage across areas that fold or stretch constantly, because that is where any painted fabric eventually shows its age.
Care
Inside out, cold water, gentle cycle, line dry in shade. No direct ironing over the artwork, no bleach, no tumble dryer.
Your own shirt or ours
Both work. If you want us to source it, tell us the size and the fit you like and we will suggest options with prices before buying anything.
